NEW HOPE FOR GREENER DMC CENTRAL

PRIVATE COLLABORATION TO KICK START

Hashmi is looking ahead for a greener and cleaner district central with the
collaboration of real state dealers of his district. This hope raised in his
mind when a delegation of local real estate dealers met him in his office and
discussed the matters regarding new plantation to spread greenery in the
district central Karachi. Rehan Hashmi told the deligation that the
administration of DMC Central has been regularly planting and distributing
plants to the people so as to increase greenery. But it was the first time that
a public sector came up to collaborate. He said that if, in all the sectors of
Municipal services, people extend their cooperation, there will be no reason
left not to make the DMC Central the greenest and the cleanest district of
Pakistan. The delegation suggested preparing an effective plan with the
collaboration of the Park department of the DMC Central so as to make it
greener ever. They also offered to provide hundreds of plants to DMC as gift as
well.
کراچی ( ) بلدیہ وسطی میں پبلک پرائیویٹ تعاون سے شجرکاری کا نیا دور شروع ہونے والاہے جو ضلع وسطی میں ہریالی ہی ہریالی پھیلادے گا۔ چیئرمین ضلع وسطی ریحان ہاشمی کے مطابق مقامی اسٹیٹ ڈیلرز کے وفد نے اُن سے ملاقات کی اور ضلع وسطی میں ہریالی پھیلانے کیلئے شجرکاری کے موضوع پر سیر حاصل گفتگو کی۔ اس موقع پر ریحان ہاشمی نے اُنہیں بتایاکہ بلدیہ وسطی تسلسل کے ساتھ شجرکاری کا پروگرام کرتی رہتی ہے اور ہزاروں کی تعداد میں پودے عوام کو بھی مہیاکئے جاتے ہیں۔تاہم یہ پہلا موقع ہے کہ عوام کی جانب سے بلدیہ وسطی کو تعاون کی پیش کش کی گئی ہے جو کہ ایک بہت ہی خوش آئند بات ہے ۔ اگر ایسے ہی دیگر کاموں میں بھی عوام کی جانب سے بلدیہ وسطی کو تعاون حاصل ہوتا رہے تو کوئی وجہ نہیں کہ ضلع وسطی شہر کا سب سے خوبصورت اور صاف شفاف ضلع نہ بن سکے۔ اسٹیٹ ڈیلرز کے وفد نے ضلع وسطی میں ہریالی میں اضافے کے لئے شجرکاری کرنے کا ارادہ ظاہر کرنے کے ساتھ اپنی جانب سے پودے بھی مہیاکرنے کا ارادہ ظاہر کیا جبکہ بلدیہ وسطی کے پارک ڈپارٹمنٹ سے مل کر موثر منصوبہ بندے کرنے کے لئے ٹیم تشکیل دینے کی تجویز بھی پیش کی۔اُمید کی جاسکتی ہے کہ اگر مندرجہ بالا پبلک پرائیویٹ تعاون سے شروع کی جانے والی شجرکاری گہراہرا رنگ لائے گی اور ضلع وسطی کو شہر کا سبز ترین ضلع بنانے میں کامیابی حاصل ہوگی۔
