KARACHI: The DMC Central Rehan Hashmi has appreciated the
gesture of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail for getting approval of district central
schemes which would give a good look to district Karachi central these scheme
had been submitted by elected municipal representative of DMC during the last
year of previous government however it was approved by current government.
Talking to media here the other day Hashmi said one of our schemes flyover at
five star Chowrangi and another bridge at Abdullah college which would connect
Sahahar-e-Noor Jehan to Paposhnagar till Nazimabad .Hashmi said he had thanked
to Sindh Governor for taking interest in the development of Karachi. Hashmi
said he visits each and every area to look after district central and Mayor
Karachi was playing a pivotal role in this regard. During visit to different
parts of the city particularly Liaquatabad Dakkhana where he examined the
cleanliness of Timber market .Hashmi said it was the main market of traders in
district central, they appreciated the visit of DMC central chairman. Hashmi
said he leaves no stone unturned to keep district central neat and tidy among
all six districts of Karachi .Hashmi said Governor lauded his efforts to
upgrade district central despite limited resources and assured that resources
would be available in the near future .Governor appreciated the installation of
sewerage water filter plants which was saving lacs of gallons drinking water
and in return was making district central green. Governor said other districts
should follow the efforts made by DMC Central Chairman Rehan Hashmi. Hashmi said
Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar has lauded the efforts of Sindh Governor as previous
government had neglected about 40 development schemes given to them. Hashmi
replying to a question about the garbage, he said for this municipal
commissioner or Sanitary inspector of the area be given Magisterial powers so
that the person throwing garbage on streets be sent to jail, this was the only
solution of garbage.
کراچی ( ) چیئرمین بلدیہ وسطی ریحان ہاشمی نے گورنر سندھ کی جانب سے ضلع وسطی میں دوفلائی اوورز کی تعمیر کے منصوبوں کاخیر مقدم کرتے ہوئے کہا گورنرسندھ عمران اسماعیل کی جانب سے ضلع وسطی میں دو فلائی اوورز کی تعمیر کے منصوبوں کی منظوری دینے پر انکا شکریہ اداکرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ فائیو اسٹار چورنگی اور عبداللہ کالج نارتھ ناظم آباد پرفلائی اوورز کی تعمیر ضلع وسطی کے عوام کے لئے خوش آئند ہے ۔ فلائی اوورز کی تعمیر سے نہ صرف علاقہ مکینوں کو سہولت ہوگی بلکہ ٹریفک جام کے مسائل بھی بہت حد تک حل ہوجائیں گے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ گورنر سندھ عمران اسماعیل کی جانب سے کراچی کے مسائل حل کرنے اور اسکی خوبصورتی میں اضافے کے لئے دل چسپی کا اظہار انکی کراچی سے محبت کا آئینہ دار ہے۔جبکہ گذشتہ حکومت نے کراچی کی بہتری کے لئے میئرکراچی وسیم اختر کی جانب سے پیش کئے گئے چالیس منصوبوں کونظر انداز کردیا تھا۔ دریں اثناأ ریحان ہاشمی نے بلدیہ وسطی کے مختلف علاقوں کا دورہ کیا ۔ خصوصاً لیاقت آباد ڈاکخانہ پر قائم ٹمبر مارکیٹ کے علاقے میں صفائی کے معاملات کا جائزہ لیا اور بلدیہ وسطی کے سینی ٹیشن ڈپارٹمنٹ کی بہتر کارکردگی پر اظہارِ اطمینان کیا۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ گورنر سندھ نے ضلع وسطی کو صاف شفاف رکھنے کے لئے کم وسائل کے باوجود بلدیہ وسطی کے عملے کی انتھک کاوشوں کوسراہتے ہوئے یقین دلایا کہ جلد ہی ضلع وسطی کے فنڈز کے مسائل بھی حل کردئے جائیں گے۔ جبکہ ضلع وسطی میں سیوریج کے پانی کو پودوں کے لئے قابل استعمال بنانے کے لئے ٹریٹمنٹ پلانٹس کی تنصیب کے منصوبوں کی تعریف کی جن کی وجہ سے لاکھوں گیلن پینے کا پانی روزآنہ بچایا جارہاہے۔ اور ضلع وسطی کی ہریالی میں اضافہ ہورہاہے۔ ریحان ہاشمی نے ضلع وسطی کے تمام زونز کو صاف رکھنے کے لئے کوئی بھی دقیقہ فروگزاشت نہ کرنے کے عزم کا اظہارکرتے ہوئے حکومتِ سندھ سے مطالبہ کیا کہ بلدیاتی سینٹری انسپکٹرز کو مجسٹریٹ کے اختیارات دئے جائیں تاکہ وہ جگہ جگہ گندگی اور کوڑاکرکٹ پھیلانے ، اور شہر کو گندگی کا ڈھیر بنانے والوں کو جیل بھیج سکیں۔
