KARACHI: The DMC Central Chairman Rehan Hashmi has bound
down the sanitation department to ensure cleanliness around and adjacent
Imambargahs and mosques during Muharram.Chairman said his top priority was to
expedite sweeping and lifting of garbage during Muharram, particularly ,
he stressed .He was on a whirl wind tour to personally examine the arrangements
being made for Muharram .Hashmi also bound down the B & R department to
expedite repair work of roads and carpeting and patch work before
Muharram .Chairman also inspected various Imambargahs and also met the
management staff of important Imambargahs and assured them of full cooperation
by DMC central .The chairman was accompanied by XEN, deputy director , director
parks and director health department.Chairman during visit also examined the
conditions of different parks and directed the director parks to make
these parks further green so that people do not face any problem during
Muhrram.He said people take some rest in these parks as there could be
scorching sun and heat .Chairman said KWSB and K electric have been asked not
to the staff of KWSB and K electric should not do any kind of negligence during
Muharram.The elected members MNAs and MPAs also accompanied the chairman.
کراچی ( ) چیئرمین بلدیہ وسطی ریحان ہاشمی نے نارتھ کراچی سیکٹر ۳؍یونین کمیٹی نمبر 2میں الحمید سیکنڈری اسکول کی جانب سے شروع کی جانے والی شجرکاری مہم کا افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پر اسکول کے ایڈمنسٹریٹر عبد الحمید ،پرنسپل منور حمید ، اساتذہ اور طلبا و طالبات نے بھی اسکول کے قریب گرین بیلٹ پر تقریباً ایک سو (۱۰۰) پودے لگائے ۔ قبل ازیں ایک اسکول میں منعقد کی جانے والی خصوصی تقریب میں اساتذہ اور طلبا و طالبات سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ریحان ہاشمی نے کہا کہ درخت انسانی زندگی کے لئے بہت اہمیت رکھتے ہیں ۔ دنیا میں بڑھتی ہوئی آلودگی کے خلاف درخت ہی سب سے موثر ہتھیار ہے ۔ اس لئے نئی نسل کو درختوں سے محبت کرنی اور شجرکاری میں دلچسپی لینی چاہئے ۔ اسکول کے پرنسپل منور حمید نے اس موقع پر اسکول میں کی جانے والی ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں سے ریحان ہاشمی کو آگاہ کیا اور شجر کاری کے لئے کئے جانے والے اقدامات کے بارے میں بتایا۔
